Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools with precision and consistency Perform buffing and polishing to achieve a smooth, high-gloss finish on painted surfaces Conduct auto glass replacement and repair as needed to restore vehicle integrity and appearance Assist with auto restoration projects by performing welding, mechanical repairs, and detailing tasks to support overall vehicle refurbishment Use power tools and hand tools effectively for surface preparation, paint application, and finishing touches Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards while handling hazardous materials like paints and solvents Skills Proven dealership or auto body shop experience with a focus on auto painting and body repair Strong welding skills for minor repairs and panel work Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto glass installation, and auto restoration processes Expertise in auto estimating to assess damage scope and plan repairs efficiently Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, buffing machines, and detailing tools Knowledge of vehicle systems including auto body repair techniques and auto painting procedures Excellent customer service skills for communicating repair progress and addressing client concerns Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or vehicle handling Mechanic experience is a plus for understanding vehicle mechanics during restoration projects Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a real difference!
