Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking to add a highly qualified auto body painter and a technician to join our team. Extreme Paint Shop is a branched division of Extreme Performance and is located adjacent to our main facility at 3130 SE Slater Street in StuartFL 34997.
Our new state of the art facility is fully air-conditioned and equipped with a USI Italia paint booth, mixing room, & prep station. Contrary to typical collision body shops, our focus is on the aftermarket industry with emphasis in vehicle customization. We have a position open for both a painter and another auto body technician. The right candidate for either position is one with a mindset towards high quality, efficient and properly executed work and is seeking a position for the long haul. We offer competitive pay based on experience.Painter Skills & Duties:
- Ability to spray waterborne and solvent based paints
- Precision spraying & finish execution with complex finishes such as pearls, metalics, and tri-coats.
- Proficient in computerized paint mixing systems and ability to manually adjust as needed for proper matching
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address small imperfections
Tech Skills & Duties:
- Previous experience in automotive repair/refinish and strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems is required
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques and required tools and equipment
- Disassemble exterior & interior vehicle components for refinish or repair
- Reassemble vehicle components following refinish work and confirm proper function
- Prep components for refinish including: sandblasting, bodywork, sanding, blocking, masking, etc. with an emphasis on high quality body work.
