Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of transforming damaged vehicles into pristine, like-new condition! In this energetic role, you'll utilize your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body refinishing, and cosmetic restoration to deliver exceptional results. Your hands-on skills in welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure each vehicle is repaired efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication techniques. Utilize MIG welding, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct auto painting, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs using airless paint spraying and sanding tools to achieve flawless finishes. Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, and other components while ensuring proper fitment and alignment. Use hand tools and power tools for disassembly, assembly, sanding, and detailing to meet quality standards. Apply auto restoration techniques to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to their original condition. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, and fabrication processes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress and explaining work performed clearly. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive structural repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto parts installation, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with auto estimating software and auto body repair processes is preferred. Hands-on experience with auto painting, detailing, auto glass replacement, and automotive parts installation. Ability to operate various tools including hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment effectively. Knowledge of automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as sanding, painting, and finishing for high-quality results. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of working on complex repairs including auto restoration projects.
