Job Description

Overview Island Fender is an expanding, family-owned business. We provide high-quality auto body repairs to Honolulu and the surrounding area. We are a certified collision repair center for Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Honda, Acura, Nissan, Chrysler, Fiat, and Hyundai. Our shop takes great pride in our certifications and continued education in OEM procedures and technician training. We are constantly adapting and strive to be innovative to stay ahead of our ever-changing world and technology. Our goal is to deliver the best in customer service and collision repairs. Experienced, First Class preferred but willing to train the right person. If you feel that you would make a good fit for our team please apply! Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, filling, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primer, base coats and clear coats Conduct buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish that exceeds customer expectations Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections; perform corrective actions such as sanding or reapplying paint for perfection Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow safety protocols when handling paints, solvents, and power tools Skills Experienced, First Class preferred but willing to train the right person. Auto body shop experience with a strong background in auto painting and repair techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during intricate repair tasks •Pay based on experience •Driver's license and clean driving record required
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
