Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive automotive structural repairs, cosmetic refinishing, and restoration work on a variety of vehicles. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that every vehicle is restored to its original condition with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. Pay This is a 1099 contractor job. Pay is DOE and discussed in the interview process. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using advanced welding techniques. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, repair, and restore vehicle bodies. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs such as auto painting, auto body refinishing, paint spraying, and detailing to achieve a high-quality finish. Fabricate custom parts or repair damaged components through fabrication techniques and sheet metal work to ensure proper fitment and durability. Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision. Assist in auto restoration projects by applying fabrication repair techniques and automotive structural repair skills to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to life. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards for heavy lifting, use of power tools, and welding operations. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or collision center environment. Strong background in auto body repair with hands-on expertise in auto painting, sanding techniques, and cosmetic refinishing. Skilled in welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques with familiarity using automotive welding equipment. Knowledge of automotive structural repair processes including working with sheet metal and automotive parts installation. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive repair procedures. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
