In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert collision repair, structural realignment, and cosmetic refinishing. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools, power tools, and automotive welding equipment. Execute automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding, sanding tools, auto painting with airless paint spraying equipment, and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and attention to detail. Utilize fabrication skills for custom repairs or modifications using sheet metal and fabrication repair techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively about repair progress. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision repair shop. Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes, automotive structural repair, and cosmetic refinishing techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication using automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Experience with auto restoration projects or working on automotive dent repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
