Job Description

Summary Newell's Auto Body, an industry leader in collision repair, is looking to hire a paint prepper to be a part of our team. This position involves preparing vehicles, parts, and panels to be refinished. This position may also require some refinishing work. Be willing to work in a team structure on a team structured pay plan. Duties And Responsibilities Prepping vehicles, new and/or repaired panels, and parts for the next step in the refinishing process. Blocking of primers on repaired panels Attention to detail with masking and prevention of overspray Spraying of primers, sealers, and basecoats Moving vehicles as needed Cleanliness is a MUST. Clean work habits result in clean refinish work. Maintain organized efficient work area Comply with all company and industry safety rules including, but not limited to, wearing appropriate safety gear Additional duties may be assigned Licenses and Certifications Valid driver's license and insurability required. Benefits We strive to offer competitive compensation. Starting pay will be based on experience and knowledge.
