New Lenox, IL Pay:
$15-$20/hour, based on experience Probst Collision is a family-owned and operated collision repair shop that has been serving the New Lenox area since 1978. We're looking for someone to join our team and help with paint prep, vehicle disassembly and reassembly, and minor body repairs . This is an entry-level position , but we'd prefer someone who has at least some experience working around vehicles, in a body shop, or with automotive tools. You don't need years of experience. You don't need to be a body technician. You do need to be willing to work, willing to learn, and have some basic mechanical common sense. What You'll Be Doing Sanding and preparing vehicles and panels for paint Masking and general paint prep Assisting with primer and blocking Disassembling vehicles for repair Reassembling vehicles after repairs and paint Removing and installing bumpers, headlights, taillights, trim, moldings and other components Performing minor body repairs based on experience Assisting our body technicians when needed Keeping your work area and tools organized Learning proper collision repair processes along the way What We're Looking For Some automotive or body shop experience is preferred. That could come from working in a shop, automotive classes, working on your own vehicles, or another hands-on automotive environment. We're looking for someone who: Knows their way around basic hand and power tools Has some basic automotive knowledge Isn't afraid to get their hands dirty Can follow instructions and pay attention to details Shows up and is dependable Takes pride in their work Wants to learn Can work as part of a small team We'll teach you. We just need you to bring the effort. If you're interested in collision repair as a career, there's plenty of opportunity to learn more and grow into additional repair responsibilities. We're not kidding. You can sand a bumper in August without wondering if you're going to melt into the floor. About Us Probst Collision has been family owned and operated since 1978 . We're an independent collision repair shop, not a large corporate chain. We're a smaller team, and we're looking for someone who wants an opportunity to learn the collision repair trade, work hard, and become an important part of the shop. You don't need to know everything on day one. Come in with some basic experience, a willingness to learn, and a good work ethic. We'll help with the rest.

$15-$20/hour based on experience
