You will work with a variety of tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to bring vehicles back to life efficiently and precisely. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, utilizing MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair techniques. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to repair dents, scratches, and other cosmetic damages. Fabricate and modify metal parts using fabrication skills to ensure proper fitment and alignment during repairs. Conduct auto restoration projects, including auto painting, auto body refinishing, and detailing to achieve a high-quality finish. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, glass, trim pieces, and perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques like sanding, sanding tools operation, airless paint spraying, and auto painting for a flawless appearance. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining safety standards and customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop environment. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, and auto restoration processes. Familiarity with automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and automotive welding equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive repair standards is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repair processes and timelines.
