Jim Clark Auto Center in Junction City, is looking for an auto body repair technician / painter. We are a Chevrolet dealership that has been in business forty years serving the Flint hills. We are a family oriented business with more then seventy employees. We are looking for experienced body shop technicians, preferably with at least 2 years experience. Automotive Body Technician /
Collision Technician Job Responsibilities:
Disassemble, repair and or replace parts as needed, prep and paint to restore car to pre accident condition. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is needed Advise body shop manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised. Document work performed and recommended on the repair order. Upon completion of work, return the repair order to the Service Advisor. Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards Automotive Body Technician / Collision Technician Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent I Car Certification Preferred Proven experience Auto Body Technician/Collision Technician Valid Driver's license and clean driving record Be able to stand for long periods of time Must have your own tools Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service!
