This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with advanced auto body repair techniques, including surface preparation, painting, and refinishing. You will utilize your expertise in auto painting, surface masking, and spray application to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, grinding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply automotive paint using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment with precision and attention to detail Perform surface repairs, including filling dents, sanding imperfections, and ensuring smooth finishes before painting Mix and match paint colors accurately to match vehicle specifications and customer expectations Utilize buffing and polishing tools to achieve a flawless surface finish after painting Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols such as respiratory protection when handling paints and chemicals Assist with auto body repairs involving welding, mechanical adjustments, or auto glass replacement as needed Experience Proven dealership or auto body shop experience as an auto painter or body technician preferred Strong knowledge of automotive body refinishing techniques and surface preparation methods Hands-on experience with welding, grinding, and the use of power tools for auto body repairs Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service practices is a plus Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment Prior experience with auto glass installation or repair is advantageous Join us in delivering exceptional vehicle restorations by combining your technical expertise with your passion for automotive craftsmanship.
