Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Auto Body Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance and durable protection. Your expertise will help bring vehicles back to their original condition or better, contributing to our reputation for excellence in auto restoration. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using spray guns, airless sprayers, or other conventional methods Perform surface preparation including masking, sanding, and grinding to achieve smooth finishes Conduct auto body refinishing tasks such as buffing, polishing, and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface repairs and finishing work Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection measures Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects and provide quality control checks before vehicle delivery Qualifications While not a necessity, experience with PPG Envirobase or other waterborne paint lines is ideal Proven experience in auto body painting within a dealership or collision repair environment Strong knowledge of automotive buffing, sanding, and surface preparation techniques Proficiency with painting equipment including spray guns, airless paint sprayers, and buffing tools Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto glass replacement is a plus Familiarity with automotive surface preparation standards and safety procedures including respiratory protection Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to restoring vehicles with precision and care.
