Champion Ford Mazda of Owensboro is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team right here in Owensboro, Kentucky. Salary Range:
$22.00 per hour Benefits Hourly Base Salary Based on Experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Dental Insurance Retirement Plan Requirements Previous experience as an auto body technician required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Proficiency with various automotive repair tools and equipment. ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain them) are a plus. Responsibilities Perform quality repairs on vehicle exteriors, including diagnosing and fixing collision damage. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle body components according to manufacturer specifications. Properly prepare vehicles for paint, including sanding, priming, and masking. Apply paint and finishes with precision, ensuring a seamless match to the original color. Conduct final inspections to ensure all repairs meet our high standards for quality and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, keeping tools and equipment in good condition. Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
