Our shop is fully equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technology to handle everything from passenger vehicles to medium-duty trucks.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Body Man Technician with expertise in medium-duty truck repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collision repair, panel replacement, frame straightening, and refinishing.
Responsibilities:
Perform bodywork and structural repairs on cars/medium-duty trucks Replace or repair damaged panels, frames, and other components Work with steel, aluminum, and composite materials Perform welding, grinding, and sanding as necessary Ensure proper alignment and fitment of replacement parts Collaborate with estimators and painters to ensure seamless repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer repair procedures
Qualifications:
Experience in medium-duty truck body repairs (preferred) I-CAR certification (preferred but not required) Welding and Metalworking Experience Ability to read and interpret repair blueprints and estimates Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs Valid driver's license Why Work at Akiki Auto Body?
