In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert collision repair, structural alignment, and cosmetic refinishing. Your expertise in automotive body repair, welding, fabrication, and detailing will ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop looking flawless and safe. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive restoration and committed to delivering exceptional quality work. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using advanced welding and fabrication techniques Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision Repair and replace sheet metal components, auto glass, and automotive parts as needed for comprehensive vehicle restoration Conduct sanding, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and automotive refinishing to achieve a high-quality cosmetic finish Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, assemble, and fine-tune vehicle components during repair processes Apply automotive structural repair methods to ensure safety standards are met or exceeded Assist with auto restoration projects by demonstrating mechanical knowledge and automotive repair expertise while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or collision repair environment Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including welding repair, sheet metal work, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment Familiarity with auto painting processes such as auto body refinishing and airless paint spraying Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive parts installation equipment effectively Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto glass replacement, auto parts installation, and automotive structural repair Experience with auto estimating procedures and customer service skills are a plus Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions required for detailed repairs Join us if you're eager to bring your expertise in auto body repair to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence.
