We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality craftsmanship to our customers. Overview We are seeking a motivated Auto Body Paint Prep Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, ensuring optimal quality and finish. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in auto body repair and refinishing, contributing to the overall success of our collision center. Duties Willing to be a TEAM player and work & communicate well with others. Perform surface preparation including sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion of paint and coatings Use hand tools, grinders, and power tools to remove old paint, rust, and surface imperfections Apply masking materials accurately to protect areas not being painted Operate spray guns for surface priming and paint application. Conduct auto body repairs such as minor welding and mechanical adjustments as needed for proper surface alignment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols including respiratory protection measures Qualifications Experience or background in automotive collision repair highly preferred Proficiency with hand tools, grinders, sanders, buffing equipment, and power tools Knowledge of automotive surface preparation, masking, sanding, buffing, and painting techniques Experience with auto painting using spray guns and automotive refinishing processes Ability to read & follow repair orders Mechanical knowledge including basic auto body repairs & panel replacement. Ability to tear down vehicles, diagnosis damage and prepare supplements. Familiarity with welding and vehicle maintenance practices is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
