In this role, you will be responsible for restoring the flawless finish of vehicles by removing surface imperfections, scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to automotive excellence. Responsibilities Perform paint correction procedures using advanced buffing, polishing, and sanding techniques to eliminate surface defects and restore vehicle paintwork to showroom quality. Utilize airless paint spraying equipment and hand tools for precise application of touch-up paints and clear coats when necessary. Conduct auto body repairs related to paint imperfections, including blending, feathering, and color matching to ensure seamless finishes. Operate power tools safely and effectively for sanding, polishing, buffing, and detailing tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Assess vehicle condition thoroughly, identify areas requiring correction or restoration, and develop tailored repair plans. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and calibrated for optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on vehicle inspections, estimations, and customer service interactions to deliver exceptional results. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair, auto painting, or auto restoration. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto body equipment. Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for structural repairs related to paint correction projects. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto glass replacement is advantageous. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicles or parts during repair processes. Demonstrated proficiency in detailing, buffing, airless paint spraying, and auto painting techniques.
