Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing, replacing, and refinishing damaged body parts. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. Whether performing auto body repairs, auto painting, or auto restoration, your hands-on skills will be vital in transforming damaged vehicles into works of art. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans to restore structural integrity and appearance Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components through metal fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs Utilize automotive repair knowledge to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to body damage and assist with vehicle maintenance as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding, sanding, and other demanding tasks Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress and provide excellent customer service throughout the process Skills Proven repair facility experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs and vehicle maintenance Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto estimating software, and auto painting equipment including airless paint sprayers Experience with auto glass installation and auto restoration projects is a plus Knowledge of automotive repair standards, heavy lifting procedures, and safety regulations in a workshop environment Excellent attention to detail for finishing touches such as detailing and auto painting refinishing Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards Good customer service skills with clear communication abilities to explain repairs and build trust with clients Join us as an Auto Body Technician if you're passionate about transforming vehicles through expert craftsmanship!
