Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using a variety of advanced techniques and tools. Your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing will ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop looking flawless and safe. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using MIG welding, welding repair, and fabrication techniques Utilize automotive welding equipment for welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicle frames and panels Conduct auto painting and automotive refinishing using airless paint spraying, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair methods for a high-quality finish Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and care Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, auto restoration, and detailed automotive repairs Apply automotive dent repair techniques to restore vehicle surfaces to factory standards while maintaining safety protocols Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical inspections, auto parts installation, and general automotive repair as needed Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards during heavy lifting and operation of automotive equipment Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or independent shop Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes including sheet metal work, automotive structural repair, and cosmetic refinishing Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication techniques required for various repairs Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment Experience with auto restoration projects or working on classic vehicles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle repairs Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong background in auto body repair is essential Join our team today if you're passionate about delivering top-tier auto body repairs!
