Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our in-house recon and cosmetic department. This position is primarily focused on dealership reconditioning work — including bumper repair, panel adjustment, collision repair, body prep, fitment, paint work prep and cosmetic corrections on mainly European vehicles. However, candidates must also be comfortable assisting with occasional aftermarket full body kits / conversion installations throughout the year under the oversight of our experienced paint/body lead technician. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean workmanship, understands vehicle fitment and panel alignment, and has attention to detail when working on high-end vehicles. Responsibilities Perform dealership recon body work and cosmetic repairs Repair or replace bumpers, fenders, hoods, trim pieces, and panels Body prep and filler work Panel alignment and fitment adjustments Aftermarket body kit installations when needed Work with carbon fiber, polyurethane, fiberglass, and OEM-style aftermarket components Help mock up and test-fit aftermarket parts before paint/install Maintain clean and organized work area Ideal Candidate Previous auto body or collision repair experience required Experience with aftermarket body kits strongly preferred Understanding of fitment, trimming, sanding, and modification work associated with aftermarket parts Comfortable working on European and luxury vehicles Ability to work independently while also taking direction from lead technician Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Paint experience is a plus, but not required Important Notes About This Position This is NOT a production collision shop position. Most work involves dealership reconditioning and cosmetic work on retail inventory. A few times per year, we perform aftermarket installs including body kits, aero components, diffusers, spoilers, and similar upgrades. Candidates should understand that aftermarket parts often require additional fitting, modification, sanding, trimming, and patience to achieve proper fitment. What We Offer Indoor climate-controlled facility Consistent workflow High-end vehicle inventory Supportive team environment Opportunity to work on unique and enthusiast vehicles Competitive pay based on experience
