The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, demonstrating proficiency in various fabrication techniques and mechanical knowledge. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks. Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to ensure vehicles meet quality standards. Execute assembly tasks on various automotive components using hand tools and power tools. Carry out auto glass replacement and repair as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Assist in estimating repair costs accurately for customers while maintaining transparency throughout the process. Handle heavy lifting of automotive parts and components safely and efficiently. Skills Proficient in MIG welding, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in auto body repair. Experience in vehicle maintenance, detailing, auto body repair, sheet metal work, soldering, and assembly tasks. Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and practices is an advantage. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
