In this energetic role, you'll leverage your expertise in automotive body repair, painting, and fabrication to deliver exceptional results. Whether working on collision repairs, auto restorations, or cosmetic enhancements, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality craftsmanship. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for skilled technicians passionate about automotive repair and refinishing. Responsibilities Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and collision damage restoration with precision and attention to detail. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques to ensure smooth finishes. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, trim pieces, and other components with hand tools and power tools while maintaining quality standards. Use fabrication skills to create or modify sheet metal parts and perform fabrication repair techniques for custom or restoration projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling automotive welding equipment and other tools. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including auto parts installation, detailing, and general mechanical troubleshooting when needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair processes clearly and ensuring satisfaction with finished work. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician. Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques including dent repair, sheet metal work, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs. Skilled in fabrication techniques involving sheet metal shaping and fabrication repairs. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment efficiently. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with auto restoration or general repairs when necessary. Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong customer service skills to ensure high-quality results.
