Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck Bed Installer/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for customizing and installing custom truck beds and related structural components. Your expertise in automotive metal work, welding, and fabrication techniques will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Duties Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and automotive welding equipment. Perform MIG welding to join metal parts securely while maintaining structural integrity. Install custom truck beds by interpreting design specifications and technical drawings, ensuring precise fit and finish. Conduct welding repair and fabrication repair techniques to restore or modify existing structures as needed. Install automotive parts such as lighting fixtures, and other accessories onto fabricated truck beds. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to the fabrication process, including heavy lifting and assembly procedures while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on custom projects, body repair, and structural enhancements for trucks. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring all safety standards are followed during fabrication and welding activities. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or background working with automotive, truck bed or trailer customization projects. Strong MIG welding skills with experience in automotive structural repair. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques using metal, power tools, hand tools, and automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including automotive wiring, fuel system, auto parts installation, and automotive repair processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
