Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously through sanding, masking, and surface preparation to ensure optimal adhesion of graphics and paint. Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and spray guns—including airless paint sprayers—to apply graphics, paint coatings, or finishes with precision. Measure and align graphics accurately using templates and measuring devices to ensure perfect placement. Perform vehicle body repairs such as auto body refinishing, auto painting, buffing, and auto restoration to prepare surfaces for graphic application. Execute welding and mechanical tasks as needed for vehicle modifications or repairs related to installation projects. Maintain a safe work environment by utilizing respiratory protection and adhering to safety protocols during all procedures. Conduct quality checks on completed installations to verify adherence to client specifications and industry standards. Assist with heavy lifting and moving of large materials or vehicles safely around the workspace. Collaborate with team members on estimating project costs and timelines for auto glass replacement or custom graphics projects. Skills Proven dealership experience or automotive background with hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance and auto body repair. Strong mechanical skills complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and spray guns. Expertise in automotive surface preparation including masking, sanding, buffing, and painting techniques such as conventional spraying and airless paint spraying. Knowledge of automotive buffing, detailing, auto restoration, and auto painting processes to achieve high-quality finishes. Experience with automotive glass installation or repair is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings or auto estimating documents for precise project execution. Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities for client interactions. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; comfort working at heights or in confined spaces if necessary. Familiarity with respiratory protection equipment to ensure safety during spray painting or sanding tasks.
