Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using spray guns such as airless or conventional sprayers with attention to detail Perform surface repairs including dent filling, sanding, and feathering to achieve smooth finishes Use welding techniques to repair or modify vehicle panels as needed for proper alignment and fit Conduct auto body repairs by replacing or repairing damaged panels and parts with mechanical knowledge and hand tools Buff, polish, and detail painted surfaces to achieve a high-gloss finish that meets quality standards Operate power tools such as grinders and sanders safely while adhering to respiratory protection protocols during spray painting processes Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in automotive body refinishing and auto painting Strong knowledge of automotive surface preparation, masking techniques, sanding, and detailing Proficiency with painting equipment including spray guns (airless, HVLP), buffing machines, grinders, and hand tools Experience with welding and auto glass replacement is highly desirable Mechanical skills related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during panel replacement or assembly tasks Excellent customer service skills paired with auto estimating knowledge for accurate work scope assessment Familiarity with respiratory protection standards and safe handling of paints and chemicals Join us if you're passionate about transforming vehicles into works of art!
