Overview We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Auto Body Estimator to join our fast-paced collision repair team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, conducting vehicle damage assessments, writing precise estimates, and coordinating with technicians and insurance companies to ensure top-quality repairs and seamless customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Vehicle Inspection:

Perform detailed damage assessments for collision, cosmetic, and mechanical repairs.

Estimate Preparation:

Create transparent, detailed estimates using software like CCC ONE, Mitchell.

Customer Communication:

Explain costs, repair options, and timelines clearly to clients throughout the process.

Workflow Coordination:

Work closely with technicians and shop managers to track job status and meet delivery deadlines.

Insurance, Fleet & Payment Follow-up:

Liaise with insurance providers and fleet companies to assist with parts management, process claims, and actively track and follow up on pending payments .

Upselling:

Recommend additional maintenance services (brakes, alignments, tires, suspension) to add customer value.

Documentation:

Manage repair orders, invoicing, cash/card transactions, and customer records accurately. Requirements Proven experience in auto body estimating/writer. Proficiency in estimating software ( CCC ONE , Mitchell ) Strong mechanical knowledge (collision repair, diagnostics) Proven track record of handling insurance and fleet company billing/collections. Excellent customer service, communication, and upselling skills.

$70,000.00 - $83,500.00 per year
