Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ayudante body trailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with the repair, fabrication, and maintenance of trailer bodies, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in automotive bodywork and welding techniques within a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, functionality, and appearance of our fleet, supporting our commitment to excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. Responsibilities Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and repair of trailer bodies using hand tools and power tools. Perform MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair techniques to restore structural integrity. Support automotive structural repairs, auto body refinishing, and sheet metal fabrication tasks. Use sanding tools and automotive cosmetic repair methods to ensure high-quality finishes. Aid in auto restoration projects by applying fabrication repair techniques and automotive parts installation. Handle heavy lifting safely while assisting with vehicle maintenance and auto glass replacement. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Prior experience working in a dealership or automotive body shop environment is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, and welding repair techniques. Knowledge of mechanical systems, auto painting, auto body repair, and automotive dent repair. Familiarity with sheet metal work, automotive parts installation, and auto glass replacement. Hands-on experience with auto restoration projects or working as an automotive body technician is advantageous. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment confidently.
