Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and craftsmanship. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and finishing to deliver exceptional results. Your skills will help clients regain confidence in their vehicles while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals passionate about automotive repair and structural restoration. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural realignment using automotive structural repair techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Fabricate custom sheet metal parts and perform fabrication repair techniques to match original specifications. Operate automotive welding equipment, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint sprayers, and other hand tools to prepare surfaces and apply finishes. Conduct auto painting, automotive cosmetic repairs, and auto body refinishing to achieve a high-quality appearance. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and perform vehicle maintenance as needed. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle components during repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician with dealership or collision center background preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair techniques, and sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and automotive welding equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, parts installation, and general automotive repair processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment effectively. Experience with auto glass installation, auto estimating software, and automotive cosmetic repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship in auto restoration or refinishing projects.
