In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and communicating effectively with customers and insurance adjusters. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and estimating software will drive customer satisfaction and ensure efficient repair processes. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to leverage their skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will also be a provided a CR rep to assist you with all of the tasks associated with being a DRP for Progressive. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine scope of repairs using computer-aided estimating software. Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates, including parts, labor, and materials costs. Communicate clearly with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians regarding repair procedures and estimates. Upsell additional services such as mechanical repairs, tire services, suspension work, or oil changes to maximize customer value. Collaborate with service technicians and mechanics to ensure repair plans align with vehicle diagnostics and mechanical assessments. Manage client communication throughout the repair process to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Assist in managing workflow by prioritizing repairs and coordinating with the auto service team for timely completion. Parts ordering Requirements Proven progressive experience as an Auto Body Estimator within a collision repair or dealership environment. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems (including transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts), and vehicle maintenance procedures. Proficiency in estimating software.
