Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Body Shop Mechanic to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive vehicle repairs, focusing on auto body and structural restoration. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics passionate about automotive repair and dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship. Responsibilities Conduct automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening, welding, and sheet metal work using MIG welding and other fabrication techniques Perform auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, sanding, and refinishing to restore vehicle aesthetics Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques including auto painting, auto glass installation, and auto restoration processes Execute welding repairs using welding repair methods such as MIG welding and soldering to ensure structural integrity Install automotive parts including bumpers, panels, glass, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards Maintain thorough documentation of repair procedures and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates and progress Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or independent shop Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, and auto body repair techniques Hands-on experience with welding repair methods such as MIG welding and soldering Familiarity with auto restoration projects, auto painting, auto refinishing, and detailing processes Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repair procedures clearly and professionally Join our team to make a difference in vehicle restoration while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$61,618.61 - $74,207.35 per year
