Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic Collision Center team as a Collision Center Technician, where your expertise in automotive repair and bodywork will bring vehicles back to their optimal condition! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with advanced automotive welding equipment, sheet metal fabrication, and cosmetic repair techniques. You will be instrumental in restoring vehicles through precise auto body repairs, welding, sanding, and painting, ensuring each vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs using MIG welding, soldering, and fabrication techniques to restore vehicle frames and bodies. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal replacement, and auto restoration processes with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately. Install automotive parts such as glass, panels, and other components while adhering to safety standards. Apply automotive cosmetic repairs including auto painting, auto body refinishing, airless paint spraying, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto parts installation, and working on automotive repair projects. Ensure all work complies with dealership standards and safety regulations while providing excellent customer service throughout the repair process. Qualifications Dealership or automotive repair shop experience strongly preferred; familiarity with collision repair processes is essential. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment operation. Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and assembly techniques. Experience in auto body repair including dent removal, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and cosmetic finishing. Knowledge of automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement, and auto painting methods such as airless paint spraying. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to follow detailed auto estimating procedures.
