Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Auto Body Tech to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in auto body repair, structural repairs, welding, and finishing will ensure our customers receive top-quality service. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using automotive welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering tools. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs, auto painting, sanding, and refinishing to restore vehicles to their original condition or better. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized fabrication techniques to repair or replace damaged panels, frames, and other vehicle components. Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, bumpers, and other accessories with precision and care. Execute automotive welding repairs including MIG welding, welding repair techniques, and fabrication to ensure vehicle integrity. Apply auto restoration skills for vintage or damaged vehicles by employing sheet metal work, auto body refinishing, and detailing techniques. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating processes and customer service to ensure clear communication about repair scope and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of all equipment. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or independent shop environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair procedures, and cosmetic finishing techniques. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with auto painting processes including airless paint spraying and automotive refinishing products. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation is highly desirable. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and other workshop equipment essential for auto body repair. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to accurately assess vehicle damage for auto estimating purposes.
