Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Paint prepper to join our dynamic team. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, providing customers with exceptional service and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced auto painting techniques in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bilingual is preferred! Auto Body Paint Technician/paint prepper Responsibilities Select and mix paint or coatings, apply using spray equipment or brushes, and ensure even coverage. Check for runs, sags, or unpainted areas; perform touch-ups.

Surface Preparation:

sand, scrape, and clean to remove old paint, masking, rust and imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality

Masking & Taping:

protect windows, trim, lights and other areas from overspray.

Degreasing & Cleaning:

Ensure surfaces are free of dirt, grease and contaminants for proper paint adhesion. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with vehicle maintenance and auto restoration projects as required to support overall repair processes Auto Body Paint Technician/paint prepper Skills Proven body shop experience or similar auto body repair background with a focus on painting techniques Strong knowledge of auto painting processes including airless paint spraying and buffing methods Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment used in auto body work Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during detailed finishing work Experience with detailing, auto restoration, and the use of auto body repair materials Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients Join us in delivering top-tier vehicle repairs by combining your technical skills with your passion for automotive excellence. $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
