Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and craftsmanship. In this role, you will perform comprehensive automotive structural repairs, auto body refinishing, and cosmetic enhancements to ensure every vehicle meets our high standards of quality. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using specialized tools and techniques Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately Conduct fabrication repairs by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components for seamless repairs Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as sanding, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and refinishing to achieve a polished finish Install automotive parts including auto glass, trim pieces, and other components with precision using hand tools and power tools Execute vehicle maintenance tasks like auto restoration, detailing, and assembly to ensure vehicles are returned in optimal condition Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, parts installation, and customer service to deliver a comprehensive repair experience Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role; dealership experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication using automotive welding equipment and sheet metal tools Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including auto painting, auto restoration, auto parts installation, and vehicle maintenance Skilled in using hand tools such as sanding tools, power tools, and specialized fabrication equipment for precise repairs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to interpret auto estimating procedures for accurate repairs Valid experience with auto glass replacement, automotive parts installation, airless paint spraying, and automotive refinish work is advantageous Join us today if you're passionate about automotive repair excellence!
