Job Overview Full time Or night time worker Or per job pay We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert repair techniques, including collision repair, dent removal, and refinishing. Your expertise in automotive structural repair and cosmetic enhancement will ensure our customers receive top-quality service and exceptional results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced auto body repair equipment and contribute to vehicle restoration projects that demand precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to shape, align, and restore vehicle panels and frames. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs such as auto painting, auto body refinishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim, and other components with precision. Apply fabrication skills for custom repairs or modifications using sheet metal fabrication and fabrication repair techniques. Use auto estimating skills to assess damage severity, prepare repair plans, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair estimates. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, welding fumes, and the use of power tools. Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of all repairs. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto restoration role. Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with OEM standards and procedures. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair techniques, and automotive cosmetic repair processes. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, parts installation, and automotive repair processes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, airless paint spraying systems, and other relevant equipment. Experience with auto estimating software and customer service interactions is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
