Role:

Paul Trinkwalder Inc. is looking for a skilled Collision Technician to join our team in Lockport, NY! If you take pride in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition and want to work in a shop that values quality craftsmanship, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models Assess and repair damaged body panels, frames, and components to manufacturer specifications Conduct welding, cutting, and metal straightening as needed for collision repair Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting including sanding, masking, and priming Align and replace doors, hoods, fenders, bumpers, and other body parts Collaborate with estimators and painters to ensure efficient workflow and quality results Document repair processes and maintain accurate records for each job

Requirements:

Prior experience in auto body or collision repair required Proficiency in frame straightening, panel replacement, and structural repair techniques I-CAR or ASE certification preferred Ability to read and interpret damage reports and repair estimates Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship Must supply own hand tools; specialty tools provided Valid driver's license required
