In this energetic role, you'll be at the forefront of automotive structural repair, auto body restoration, and cosmetic refinishing. Your craftsmanship will ensure each vehicle not only looks incredible but also meets the highest safety standards. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct auto painting, sanding, and auto body refinishing using airless paint spraying and sanding tools to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as glass, bumpers, and trim components ensuring proper fitment and alignment. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques to restore vehicle appearance, including detailing and auto restoration projects. Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including auto glass replacement and automotive parts installation. Skills Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or similar environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto restoration, and sheet metal fabrication techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and the use of automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive repair equipment. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts installation. Knowledge of auto painting methods such as airless paint spraying and automotive refinishing techniques.
