Full Job Description Job Summary:

SHALA Auto Repair Body Shop is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our shop. We are looking for someone who knows the trade, works independently, takes pride in their work, and can handle repairs from start to finish.

Pay:

$25-$35/hour depending on experience and ability. We're looking for someone experienced, so pay will be based on what you can actually do.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience with collision repair and auto body work Body panel repair and replacement Dent and damage repair Disassembly and reassembly of vehicles Ability to properly align and fit body panels Experience working with bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, quarter panels, etc. Able to assess damage and determine the proper repair Must have your own tools Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently Must produce clean, quality work — all of our work is guaranteed Experience in a professional body shop is required

Qualifications:

Previous experience in auto body prep, assembly, and disassembly preferred Strong knowledge of sanding techniques, primers, and buffing processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail and quality Dependable, punctual, and motivated Valid driver's license preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move vehicle parts and equipment Comfortable using hand and power tools
