The ideal candidate has experience with paint correction, wet sanding, buffing, and polishing vehicles to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
Responsibilities:
Wet sand and polish freshly painted vehicle surfaces. Buff and compound vehicles to remove imperfections, scratches, and paint defects. Perform final paint correction and finishing work. Remove dust nibs, orange peel, overspray, and other paint imperfections. Ensure proper paint blending and a consistent finish. Inspect completed work for quality and attention to detail. Maintain and properly use buffers, polishers, sanding equipment, and other tools. Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow all shop safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience with automotive buffing, polishing, and paint correction preferred. Knowledge of automotive paint and refinishing processes. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work efficiently in a busy auto body shop. Reliable, responsible, and professional. Valid driver's license preferred.
