Job Description We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician skilled in vehicle disassembly, reassembly, body filler application, and surface preparation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a busy collision repair shop. Responsibilities Disassemble and reassemble bumpers, doors, lights, trim, interior components, and body panels Properly label and organize all removed parts and hardware Apply body filler and perform sanding, blocking, and surface preparation Check repaired areas for proper shape, gaps, alignment, and finish Identify damaged or missing parts and report them to the estimator or shop manager Protect vehicle interiors and surrounding panels during repairs Maintain a clean and safe work area Work with body technicians, painters, and estimators to keep repairs on schedule Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards Qualifications Previous collision repair or auto body experience preferred Experience with vehicle disassembly, reassembly, body filler, and sanding Familiarity with modern vehicle parts, fasteners, sensors, and trim Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and sanding equipment Strong attention to detail and organization Able to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing Valid driver's license preferred Reliable attendance and a positive attitude Why Join Us?
