This role is vital in restoring vehicles to their original condition after accidents or damage, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic restoration, with hands-on experience using a variety of tools and welding techniques. Responsibilities Perform automotive collision repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Repair and replace auto body parts such as panels, bumpers, doors, and glass with precision. Conduct auto painting, sanding, detailing, and automotive cosmetic repairs to achieve a flawless finish. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for disassembly, assembly, sanding, and finishing tasks. Apply auto restoration techniques to bring vintage or damaged vehicles back to showroom quality. Collaborate with estimators and customers to ensure clear communication about repair scope and timelines. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist in a dealership or independent shop setting. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal fabrication. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with auto painting processes including airless paint spraying and automotive refinishing. Ability to operate various power tools such as sanders, grinders, drills, and assembly tools efficiently. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Experience with auto glass replacement and automotive dent repair is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills along with the ability to work safely with heavy lifting equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
