Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Automotive Bodyshop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality auto body repairs, structural restorations, and cosmetic enhancements. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition with precision and care, contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive repair. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Utilize fabrication skills to create or modify parts using sheet metal, power tools, hand tools, and automotive welding equipment. Conduct automotive cosmetic repairs including sanding, auto painting, auto body refinishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision. Apply automotive repair techniques like auto restoration, auto estimating, and vehicle maintenance to ensure quality standards are met. Use airless paint spraying equipment for efficient application of paint and coatings. Support vehicle assembly and perform heavy lifting tasks safely to meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or collision repair environment. Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes including welding (MIG welding), sheet metal fabrication, sanding tools, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques. Hands-on experience with automotive structural repair and auto restoration projects. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and sanding tools. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Ability to perform auto painting using airless spray systems and automotive welding equipment efficiently.
