Job Overview We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Body Shop Detailer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles in our body shop, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering impeccably detailed vehicles that look their best. Duties Perform vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing and using automated car wash systems to ensure a spotless finish Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore paint clarity and shine Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and vents to achieve a pristine condition Use proper cleaning equipment and products while adhering to safe work practices to maintain a safe environment Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle parts or equipment during detailing processes Maintain the cleanliness of the auto detailing facility and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and functioning Follow established procedures for vehicle exterior maintenance, including buffing, polishing, and cleaning to enhance overall vehicle appearance Qualifications Experience with standard passenger car operation and familiarity with vehicle paint correction techniques Knowledge of automotive buffing tools, buffers, and cleaning equipment used in auto detailing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of vehicle or equipment handling tasks Strong understanding of safe work practices within an auto detailing or janitorial environment Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or car wash environments is preferred Excellent customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us at Serra Auto Park where your skills will shine as you help deliver vehicles that look their absolute best!
