Body Shop Detail & Support Greenwood Chevrolet is looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our busy Body Shop team in Austintown, Ohio. We are seeking a self-motivated team member to help keep our Body Shop, vehicles, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and professional. This is a full-time position with a variety of daily responsibilities and an opportunity to learn and grow into additional roles within the Body Shop for the right person.

Body Shop Detail & Support Responsibilities:

Clean and detail vehicles after repairs are completed Ensure repaired vehicles are clean and presentable for customers Empty trash cans throughout the shop on a daily basis Sweep and maintain clean floors and work areas Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Body Shop environment Clean and maintain exterior grounds around the Body Shop Break down and properly dispose of cardboard and other materials Assist the Body Shop team with various tasks as needed Move and organize vehicles as directed Help keep equipment, supplies, and work areas organized Work cooperatively with Body Shop technicians, painters, advisors, and management Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Take initiative to identify and complete tasks that need to be done Perform other duties as assigned to support the Body Shop team

Body Shop Detail & Support Requirements:

Strong desire to work, learn, and grow Self-motivated and able to stay productive with limited supervision Dependable and reliable Ability to work well with a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks throughout the day Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Previous automotive or Body Shop experience is helpful, but not required Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

Body Shop Detail & Support Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to safely work around vehicles, tools, and shop equipment Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment Ability to work independently when needed Physically able to: Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Stand and walk for extended periods Bend, reach, kneel, stoop, and work in various positions Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and motor vehicle report (MVR) review At Greenwood Chevrolet, we believe our employees are our greatest asset.
