Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the necessary repairs, including structural, cosmetic, and mechanical components. Perform welding repairs using MIG welding techniques, automotive welding equipment, and soldering to restore vehicle frames and panels. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and fabrication techniques to shape, repair, or replace sheet metal and structural parts. Conduct auto body repairs such as dent removal, auto restoration, auto painting, and automotive cosmetic repairs with precision. Install automotive parts including glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components while ensuring proper fitment and alignment. Apply automotive refinishing techniques such as sanding, auto painting, airless paint spraying, and detailing to achieve a high-quality finish. Collaborate with team members on vehicle assembly and ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience with a strong background in collision repair. Icar Certification Preferred Toyota repair certification Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for effective diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, automotive welding equipment, and auto painting supplies. Experience with automotive structural repair, sheet metal work, auto restoration, and auto body refinishing. Ability to operate auto glass installation tools and perform automotive dent repair with precision. Strong customer service skills coupled with auto estimating knowledge for accurate assessments. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods.
