Job Description

Graystone is searching for Independent Contractors for vehicle inspections nationwide. Hiring 1099 Independent Contractors Immediately to join our Client's Vendor Network! Set your own hours, Contractor will provide vehicle inspection services at car dealerships in and around Pittsburg, PA A successful candidate will have the following: Own your own Basic OBD II Auto Scanner iPhone savvy with a data plan (iPhone required)? (we do not support Android or iPads) The Independent Contractor must have a Certified mechanic credentials or 2-3 years automotive mechanic experience A working iPhone (iOS13 or higher) with a data plan Basic OBD II scanner Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and proof of insurance Jumpbox Some of the perks include: Making good money in an exciting field Be your own boss and set your own hours Flexible schedule and work environment Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to various locations and conduct automotive inspections on physical inventories. Utilize cutting-edge proprietary software to complete detailed reports. Identify equipment, locate Serial/VIN numbers, and document changes and damages. Reconcile missing vehicles and update records promptly. Submit completed reports within specified time frames. Tech-savvy:
Comfortable using computers and mobile applications on a smartphone or tablet.
Flexibility:
Available during business hours, Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm.
Mobility:
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma/GED are a must.
Automotive expertise:
Previous experience as an Auto Inspector, Insurance Adjuster or similar roles is essential.
Professionalism:
Maintain a polished business appearance, demeanor, and excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn:
Take online certifications to align with our client's expectations and complete the onboarding process.
Transferable Experience:
Autobody tech, Vehicle Inspector, Insurance Adjuster, auto appraiser
