Job Description
Wanted a "B" Grade body technician with an ability to handle various positions within the company. If you want to work and advance as a technician, APPLY TODAY. Qualifications Repair and/or replace doors, panels, bumpers, fenders, hoods and trim according to manufacturers' specifications. Knowledge of MIG welder, squeeze type inverted resistance welder, electric, gas and other welding equipment; Apply fillers and featheredge, sand and smooth minor dents. Apply corrosion protection materials and primers. Remove and replace radiators, air conditioning condensers and lines, fans, fan clutches, fan belts, oil coolers, lights and wire harnesses, windshields, doors, door windows, door locks, upholstery, steering and suspension components, air bags, front/rear wheel and brake components and heating and cooling accessories. Scan vehicles and diagnose electronic components (i.e., electronic A/C/heating & cooling, air bag systems, passenger restraint systems, wiring, etc.) reading and utilizing diagnostics scanner; re assemble parts disengaged prior to the repair. Use a Windows based computer system to look up and research correct OEM repair procedures. Understanding of metals and metal thickness of materials used by manufacturers (i.e. composites, aluminum, and boron)
