Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise will help ensure our customers receive top-quality service, returning their vehicles to a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing state. Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage thoroughly and develop effective repair plans using auto estimating tools Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work with precision Utilize various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment (including MIG welding), soldering, and airless paint sprayers to execute repairs efficiently Conduct auto painting and auto restoration tasks to achieve high-quality finishes that match factory standards Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with attention to safety and detail Fabricate custom parts or modify existing components through metal fabrication techniques Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed, including before-and-after photos and repair logs Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role, preferably within a dealership environment Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques, sheet metal work, auto painting, and auto restoration processes Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding (including MIG welding), soldering, and auto estimating software Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Familiarity with auto glass replacement, auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying, and auto body assembly processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members Experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is highly desirable Valid driver's license and relevant certifications are preferred Join us in delivering exceptional vehicle repairs that combine craftsmanship with innovation!
