This is heavy-duty fleet and commercial vehicle work — semi tractors, trailers, wreckers, and municipal fleet — not passenger-car collision repair, though we're willing to train the right candidate. You'll handle the complete job from teardown to final buff on our own fleet and our customers' equipment, in a supportive shop environment that invests in your growth. $22-$32 / Hour Based on experience & skill Full-Service Shop Well-equipped, all the right tools Room to Grow Career development opportunities What You'll Do ▪ Disassembly & reassembly — hoods, fenders, bumpers, fairings, doors, lights, mirrors, trim, decals, and DOT lettering ▪ Bodywork — metal straightening, panel repair and replacement on steel, aluminum, and fiberglass, plus filler and block sanding ▪ Prep — degreasing, sanding, masking, priming, and sealing ▪ Paint — single-stage and basecoat/clearcoat systems, epoxy primers, urethanes, and direct-to-metal industrial coatings; color mixing and matching to fleet and OEM codes; booth and gun setup ▪ Finish — de-nib, cut, buff, and polish; undercoating and bedliner application ▪ Equipment you'll work on — semi tractors, dump trucks, utility and bucket trucks, heavy wreckers, trailers, box trucks, and municipal fleet vehicles What You Bring ▪ Minimum 3+ years of refinish experience in a commercial or fleet body shop — required ▪ Spray gun setup and maintenance ▪ Respirator fit test clearance ▪ Valid driver's license ▪ Own hand tools ▪ Ability to lift 50 lbs and work from lifts or scaffolding on full-size units ▪ Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship ▪ Heavy truck or fleet experience — preferred, not required ▪ PPG, Axalta, or Sherwin-Williams certification — preferred, not required ▪ Fiberglass repair experience — preferred, not required Benefits & Compensation ▪ $22-$32 per hour based on experience and skill level ▪ Full-time, 40-hour work week with overtime pay after 40 hours ▪ Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekend work ▪ Weekly pay ▪ Health, dental, and vision insurance ▪ Paid time off (PTO) — accrues weekly and grows with your tenure: 80 hours/year for years 1-4, up to 120 hours/year for years 5-9, and up to 160 hours/year once you reach year 10+ ▪ 6 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas ▪ 401(k) retirement plan with company match ▪ $25,000 group term life insurance policy, paid by the company ▪ Supplemental insurance benefits Ready to Join the Team?
