Auto Body Shop Technician - Collision Repair East Bay Auto Body East Providence, RI Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Teamwork Detailing Customer service Automotive parts installation Auto restoration Dealership experience Full Job Description East Bay Auto Body is looking for an experienced Auto Body Shop Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who is experienced in collision repair and can confidently handle vehicles from the beginning of the repair process through completion.
Responsibilities:
Perform R&I (Remove & Install) of vehicle components Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for collision repairs Perform body repairs, including replacing and repairing body panels Properly align bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, and other body components Scan vehicles and perform pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans Identify and address damage that may not be visible from the outside Follow repair procedures and manufacturer specifications Work with the repair team to complete vehicles accurately and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform quality-control checks before vehicles are returned to customers
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an auto body/collision repair shop Strong knowledge of vehicle R&I procedures Ability to properly disassemble and reassemble vehicles Experience with body repair and collision damage Comfortable using diagnostic scan tools Able to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and pride in your work Valid driver's license I-CAR certification and/or ASE certification is a plus, but not required
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a well-rounded collision technician who can look at a damaged vehicle and understand what needs to be done to get it properly repaired and back on the road. The ability to handle both body work and R&I/scan procedures is very important.

Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
